Canada

Hi, everybody. I just got back from Canada eh! I had a blast. It was fun but didn't go exactly as planned. We got stuck in Calgary for 5 hours and it rained almost everyday. The only day it didn't rain was Thursday and that was the day I got baptized. On Friday it even snowed! The people that were mountian biking or should I say snow biking had to hike for 2 hours while carring their bikes. I went white water canoing. The only bad wheather we had was hail. But we had a lot of fun.

End of the Year

It is almost the end of the school year. We have about 23 or so days left. And I can't wait. But the end of the year also means finals, which blow. I don't like the idea of taking tests all day long. But I will just have to get used to it.

March Maddness 2

So the teams that I wanted to win won. And I won the competition in my house hold. I got a 80% on my women's bracket and a 70% on my men's. That is pretty good considering all of the upsets that happened.

March Maddness

Well it is March Maddness time again, which means basketball all the time at my house. Things can get kind of crazy. I just hope that UCONN doesn't win. It don't know about the rest of you, but the men's bracket I made is messed up because of the Duke loss. If anybody is actually doing well on their men's bracket please share your strategy. Now my women's bracket is doing good so far. But anything can happen which is why they call it Maddness.

St. Patricks Day

Dad

So my dad has been in Afhagnistan since Thanksgiving. It seems like it has been longer than that. It is really hard for him to be gone because I have to take on so much more responsibility when he is gone. I don't really get alone with my dad when he is here. We don't get along because we are so different. I mean I don't like him being gone, but it's not that much different form when he is here. We don't talk or anything like that. So I don't really know what my feelings are on this perticular subject.

Softball

So we started softball workouts this week. We had the bright idea to go run laps around the track while it was starting to snow. It wasn't the smartest idea we ever had, but it was still fun to9 get back together with the team. I really missed being with them during the off season, eventhough softball takes up all of my time, I still enjoy it. During the season I am the starting pitcher on the JV team. When I am not pitching I play first base. I have a really fun time playing and I'm pretty good at it.

Advice

So this is my advice- never break up with someone by text or IM. It is one of the most stupid ways you can break up with someone. Also dear John letters are sucky too. I don't care if you are afraid of breaking up in person, but it is easier on you and the other person too. And most of the time the person you are breaking up with will appreciate you having the guts to break up with them in person.
